ORCADES: 1948 - One-class, full-ship plan from the 1960s/70s Navigazione Generale Italiana the bar at the endP&O Lines: A fold out (26" by 32") one class deck plan for the ORCADES from the late 1960 or early 1970s. The plan shows nine decks covering both the former First and Tourist class areas. Former First Class public rooms are shown in b&w photos: Riverina Room, Ballroom, Bamboo Room, and Flinders Restaurant. With the retirement of the pre war STRATHS, the ORCADES of 1948 became the oldest ship in the combined P&O Orient Line fleet. In the mid 60s the
