Nagel worden vloeibare extracten van enkele kruiden of een combinatie van verschillende kruiden van uitstekende kwaliteit gebruikt. Daarnaast worden ook extracten van planten delen van bomen struiken zeewieren en groenten toegevoegd. Om de tincturen van B. nagel voor een lange tijd houdbaar te maken is alcohol als
