Excellent CLOWN Tintype / Lee Wilmarth Redlands California 1870s military academy pre-1845 - man seated inGreat original tintype of Leander "Lee" Wilmarth (1849 1941) dressed as a clown, probably taken in or around Des Moines Iowa, where he lived in the 1870s. He later moved to Texas, San Bernardino, and finally Redlands, CA, where his house still stands. You can find more info on him on The Redlands Area Historical Society website, under Resources Biographies. He is not identified on this tintype but I'm 100% sure it's Lee, because at one time I had
